Application Method:
Interested and qualified students who are looking forward to take admissions in any of the aforesaid programmes, can get the Application form and the Prospectus in person from the Deputy Registrar (Academic) on cash payment of the applicable Intimation Fee or by post on sending a request letter mentioning the name of the course applied along with a crossed DD of INR 225/-. Nevertheless, candidates may also download the same from the University’s official web portal that is- ruraluniv.ac.in . In case downloaded from the web portal, send the appropriately filled in application from accompanied with a crossed Demand Draft amounting to an application fee of Rs.180/- issued in favor of the “Registrar, The Gandhigram Rural Institute- Deemed University” payable at Canara Bank, Gandhigram Rural Institute, Gandhigram (Code No. 8500) OR State Bank of India, Ambathurai (Code No. 3373) OR any other Nationalized Bank located in Dindigul to this address within the announced last dates:-

Admission Criteria:
The Gandhigram Rural University will carry out a Common Entrance exam for the assortment of applicants waiting for admission in the B.Tech, Postgraduation, PG Diploma or M.Phil programmes. However, Undergraduate, Diploma and 5 year Integrated Programme applicants will be shortlisted only on the base of their marks attained during their Intermediate Exams or equivalent exams through counseling. The final dates for this entrance exam and counseling will be published very soon on the website. Candidates failing to appear in this entrance test will not be eligible for admission in the University.
